EdgeKids

Screened leaders, one leader to every five children, and a room you can walk into at any time.

What EdgeKids is

EdgeKids is where our children learn 1B2GaS at their own level. They bring a friend along, grow in faith through Bible stories, prayer and play, and stay connected to a church family that knows them by name. Our leaders teach kids to notice the people around them at school and at home, pray for them and be a good friend. Every child is welcome, and so is every friend they bring.

How it works

  1. Sign in

Bring your child to the EdgeKids desk before the gathering starts. You sign them in, and you tell us anything we need to know: allergies, medical conditions, whether anyone must not collect them.

  2. They stay together

Children are in age groups with their leaders for the length of the gathering, with Bible stories, prayer and play.

  3. Only you collect them

A child is released to the adult who signed them in, and to nobody else. If somebody different is collecting, tell us at sign-in.

  4. We come and get you

If your child needs you during the gathering, someone will come and find you. You do not have to watch the door.

Who is with your child

Every EdgeKids leader holds a current NSW Working With Children Check, no adult is ever alone with a child, and there is one leader for every five children, set by the age of the group.

You are welcome in the EdgeKids room at any time, without a reason.

Our child safe policy

Younger children and babies

Babies and younger children are welcome to stay with you. There is space at the back to stand or step out, and nobody minds noise.

Your first Sunday

Come about ten minutes early so signing in is unhurried. We gather Sundays at 9:30am. To talk to someone first, call (02) 7209 1453.
